TCU HS is off to a FANTASTIC start in the 2017 calendar year.  

Current Happenings
~ 2017-18 TCU HS Course Registration & Parent-Teacher Conference on Thursdays, February 9 & 16; 4:30 to 8:00 PM.  
* Departmental "Open House" (4:30 to 5:15 PM):  Table displays by each department in the gym.  Teachers at the table to share about courses and answer student & parent/guardian questions.  Come anytime during these 45 minutes ... this is truly an "open house" and the next part of the evening will not begin until 5:15 PM.
* Gr 8:  Student & parent/guardian meeting and Q&A with school counselors & administration (5:15 PM in gym)
* Grs 9-11:  Advisory & 2017-18 Course Registration (5:15 PM)
* Parent-Teacher Spring Semester Conferences (6:00 to 8:00 PM)
* Gr 12:  Wendy Atherton of National Recognition Products (NRP) onsite from 6:00 to 7:30 PM ... information & ordering of graduation announcements, caps & gowns.  Seniors should not report to school until around 6 PM.

~ The regular seasons of our winter athletic teams -- hockey, wrestling, girls basketball, & boys basketball -- are getting close to wrapping up ... then Section play-offs start up.  March Madness ... as we know it in men's college basketball; its time for "February Fun" at the high school level!

~ Friday, Feb 10 during 12:30 PM Titan Time:  Miss 2017 South Central Lauren Fellows (2012 Montgomery-Lonsdale High School Graduate) will be onsite to share about the "Growing the Distance" / Beautiful Lengths Hair Donation Program sponsored by Pantene.  She'll be looking for students, staff, & community members who will be willing to grow their hair out to have 8 inches cut off in mid to late-May.  The hair is turned into wigs for those suffering from cancer and have lost their natural hair through radiation treatments.

~ Tuesday, February 21 is Mid-Quarter 3.  This follows the 4 day President's Day weekend (no school on Friday & Monday; February 17 & 20
