Hi! My name is Mrs. Newton and I will be your fourth grade teacher this year. It's my sixth year teaching 4th grade in Montgomery. I have also taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade in other districts. I love teaching fourth grade the most! We get to explore and learn so many new things like two-digit multiplication in Math and book clubs in Reading! I have to say my favorite subject to teach is reading. There are so many great books out there and I hope to get you reading lots of them this school year.
My hometown is Willmar, MN and I went to college at Concordia in Moorhead where I got my degree in Elementary Education. I am currently back at school working to get my Master's Degree in Education from Saint Mary's University. I live in New Prague with my husband Paul and two boys named Henry and Sam...oh, and I can't forget about our dog, Max.
My Favorites:Food: Fresh Corn-on-the-Cob
Movie: Because of Winn Dixie
Book: Train to Somewhere by Eve Bunting
