Welcome to Miss Plummer's 5th Grade Class 

     Hello students and families! Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Kortney Plummer and this will be my second year in the Tri-City United district teaching 5th grade. I previously taught 3rd grade in Spring Lake Park. I attended Winona State University where I received degrees in Education and Spanish.  I now live in Faribault with my cat, Kona, and dog, Sarge. In my free time I enjoy being outside, watching baseball (go Brewers!), and horseback riding.

   5th grade is an exciting time, this is the first year you get to use a locker with a padlock. It is a great idea to practice opening the lock before school starts! 5th grade will push you to try new things and challenge yourself. But with a positive attitude and a growth mindset, you will be on your way! Our classroom will be an inclusive place where everyone is challenged to learn and grow through new experiences and mistakes.  I can’t wait for an awesome year.
