This school year I will be teaching 8th grade Career Exploration, Accounting I & II, Intro to Business, and Investing In Your Future. I'm also the BPA advisor at TCU.
***I will be at the Le Center building until 9:00 a.m. and then at the high school from 9:30 a.m. until the end of the day***
Business Professionals of America Student's have taken over operating and managing the school store along with sponsoring the homecoming T shirt sales.
**One added note: All of my courses will be using Moodle this year to assist students** Please notice the link found under each course. The TCU High School course work and due dates will be found on the Moodle site

Accounting I
This a year long class. Students take this course to learn about business and it becomes a stepping stone to employment in accounting, finance, banking, management, investing, etc. The course includes daily drills, problems, and study guides, while exercising speed, neatness, and accuracy. Accounting I is the prerequisite for Accounting II-Advanced Accounting.
Intro to Business
This course is an introductory course designed to help students discover the business, marketing, management, and information technology career clusters and give students exposure to the different aspects of the business world. Intro to Business will introduce the students to the exciting and challenging world of business. Through the course work, students will increase their knowledge to be a better consumer, a well prepared employee, and an effective citizen in our economy. Students will work with the school store.
Accounting II
Accounting II is also known as Advance Accounting--Prerequisite is Accounting I.
Personal Finance
This course is designed to help students understand the financial world around them; so that they may make wise economic decisions related to their financial affairs. Upon completion of this course, students will have the tools to become rational, competent decision makers; informed, effective consumers; wise savers and investors; and responsible citizens. This class will use a text book and is project oriented with various hands-on learning opportunities and guest speakers. Students will be evaluated on daily work, projects, simulations, and tests. A portfolio will be collected for grade at the end of the semester.
