I then earned my Masters in Education from Saint Mary's University in 2001. This is my 20th year teaching, but my thirteenth in Montgomery. This year, you will be given the opportunity to be a bit more independent. You will get to have your own locker and combination lock. Go ahead and purchase your own now and practice, practice, practice! We will also have a student teacher with us this year. Having an additional teacher in our classroom will allow us to open so many different learning experiences for our students. I hope you are ready to have an amazing year!! We will have an awesome time experiencing how fun learning can be!
I currently live in New Prague with my husband of 23 years, Dan, and our three children (Bethany: age 20, Cody: age 18, & Emily: age 15). We also have two dogs (Sadie: age 14 and Cassie: age 1) and a guinea pig. My family loves doing just about anything as long as we're spending time together! In the summer I love to camp, read, and hang out with my family! Besides teaching here at TCU, I also teach dance at To The Pointe Dance Academy in New Prague. I am an energetic teacher who likes to learn while having fun! My expectations are high, but I’m sure you and I, together, will do phenomenal things this year. Know that it is okay to make mistakes...we actually learn more by doing so! As long as you work hard to do your very best...you will have a very successful year! I am looking forward to getting to know each of you as individuals throughout this school year. Please remember that my door is always open! |
