I love teaching! I taught ECFE classes and pre-school for 12 years and I have been teaching Kindergarten for 13 years. I love to watch the children grow throughout the year. By the end of the school year they are such "big Kids"! Kindergarten is a year full of new beginnings of making friends and learning new things each day. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities for learning and growing. We will learn about letters and sounds and do many writing activities. We will also learn about numbers, build on important math concepts, patterns, time, money, measurement and addition & subtraction. Children are always so proud of their work and new skills they achieve. I am excited to celebrate your child's new learned skills and achievements! Families can help at home by reading to and with their child daily. Please encourage them to count, write and draw. Kindergarten children learn through their play and their play is their work! |
