Welcome to the Tri-City United Mentoring and Induction site. I am excited to begin my new role as the Mentoring and Induction Teacher On Special Assignment*. Our district is dedicated to the success of all members of our school community--students and educators. As the district mentor I will be integrating new educators into the culture and climate of Tri-City United Schools along with supporting professional growth through the mentorship process. *Tri City United has joined 9 other Minnesota districts by entering into a Professional Development Schools (PDS) partnership with Minnesota State University, Mankato to better prepare pre-service teachers through long term field experiences and yearlong student teaching placements. As part of this partnership, two TCU teachers have been designated for three years as Teacher On Special Assignment (TOSA) to enhance this partnership through extended training and support of pre-service teachers. Graduate students earning their Masters degrees through MSU, Mankato will be taking their place in 5th grade classrooms.
