I am a Special Education teacher here at Tri-City United High school. My role is assisting students to address behavior, social skills, organization and academic challenges. This year will be my second year in the Tri-City United District. This year I will have an 11th grade advisory group. In the spring I am an assistant coach for the track and field program working with athletes in the shot put and discus. This will be my 22nd year as a teacher. I have previous experience as a social studies teacher, a special education teacher and a multi-disciplinary teacher. My degree in education is from Gustavus Adolphus College where I majored in teaching high school social studies. I earned my degree in special education from Minnesota State University-Mankato. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and watching my favorite teams play. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns during the year.
